Kemp PTA Spruce Up Project

Below is a list of project we would like to work on in the 2020-21 school year to make our outdoor spaces usable for outside classroom time.

Clean up overgrowth of bushes by picnic table shelter.

Pressure wash and paint existing picnic tables under picnic shelter.  There are five tables.

Pressure wash Kemp track, edge and weed it the track and repaint lane lines.

Replace warped wood on benches by track.  There are four benches and they are 48 inches long.

Construct new shade shelters for teachers to  sit under during recess.  We would like to double (possibly triple) the size of the shade shelters above.  These shelters are approximately 84 inches long.

Pressure wash and possibly stain/seal seats in amphitheater.

Garden

Clean up overgrown garden inside and outside fence.  Preserve any special plants and trees.  Landscape with low maintenance materials.  Add mulch to entry path.

Picnic Tables

We would like to purchase these 8' economy A-line wooden picnic tables.  We have worked with the vendor to obtain a purchase price of $243 per table for at least 15 tables.  If you are willing to donate to the picnic table fund you can donate via the MemberHub link below:
