Open Committee Chair Positions for 2025-2026

Applications due April 10th

  • You will work with current VP of Student Support to coordinate days and locations for after school clubs and keep parents and students updated on club communication. You will also assist with creating club rosters and establishing routines for smooth transitions for club attendees during dismissal. Time commitment is heavy at the beginning of each semester as these routines are established and light during the rest of the year.

  • You will work with the secretary to plan new bulletin board decor every one to two months based on the season or PTA events.

  • You will work with administrators and grade level team leads to determine supplies and quantities needed by each grade level. You will order supplies for next year at the end of this year through vendors including agendas, binders, and blue folders. You will set up school supply kits for parents to order independently through third party website. Finally you will help with distribution of supplies the week before school is back in session.

  • You will work with local businesses to plan approximately one spirit night or activity every other month including things like skate night and restaurant nights. As those events approach, you will send out digital and hardcopy communication encouraging families to participate. Time commitment is medium in July as you communicate with businesses and low throughout the year as you distribute reminders each month.

  • You will meet with vendor to plan spirit wear designs for shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc. for the upcoming school year. Once spirit wear is printed you work with other volunteers to distribute it to students and staff. Time commitment is heavy in early July as you plan designs with vendor assistance and medium in mid-September as you distribute spirit wear. There is the option of a fall/winter sale in November.

  • You will work with board members from all departments to advertise upcoming events and post items for sale throughout the year. At the beginning of the year you will update the site with membership info, board info, and staff info for the new school year. In February, you will help create a page like this for outreach to volunteers for the following year.

  • Currently filled Committee Chairs that you may want to keep in mind for the future include yearbook, Reflections art contest, book fair chair, holiday shop chair, social media, fifth grade events, and room parent coordinator.
